Staircase AI- Used to Develop an Audience for Journey Orchestrator

There is a great baseline analysis in Staircase AI titled ‘Accounts dark’.  It would be helpful to export or allow this data set in data designer to develop an audience for JO programs.

Use Case:  Identify the accounts that we have not reached out to, or have been unresponsive as a target audience for a webinar and to drive specific messaging (around capabilities, value, adoption, etc.).

Hi all,

I’ve used a workaround of sorts that may also help you guys here. There is a field called ‘Last Engagement Date (Staircase)’ that is visible in Gainsight when connected to Staircase AI. Using this field maybe you can use it as a filter takes the MAX value of all of the dates for all the attached people at that Company and then if it is greater than 30/60/90 days you class that account as dark?

You could also come up with another search that does a COUNT of all People that have been contacted in the last 30/60/90 days and if it’s below a certain threshold you set (e.g., three people) then you can set the account as non-multi threaded too.

Finally, you should be able to pull in some fields from Staircase into Gainsight and so if you take the Stakeholder Role you can do other checks such as a COUNT of Executive Level People records per company. For example, if the output shows 0, then you don't have any execs set against a Company and this is not good for any Executive Meetings you may wish to have.

There’s a few of these workarounds I have been utilising - happy to go through them in more detail if anyone wants to message me. :)

@rakesh as we finalize the ST-CS sync fields. This is a good one to keep in mind.

Great callout @SnowRider!

Out of curiosity, what type of context would you want to come with that signal into CS?

See the ‘accounts dark’ logic within Staircase AI to determine the appropriate signals into CS.

I really like this idea!

Currently, I’m trying to create various programs for customers who haven’t heard from us and/or we haven’t heard from in 30/60/90 days. We have more communication data in Staircase than we do in Gainsight, so being able to create programs for “No Reach out” and “Account Dark” insights (especially given that we have these insights set up differently for each tier) would work better for my org.

Following up here. Great additions from @dcassidy  and @mattmarcsmith. Matt's workaround using the "Last Engagement Date (Staircase)" field is a solid approach for the 30/60/90-day dark account use case right now.

On the broader ask: the ST-CS field sync has expanded since I last posted here. We are hard at work to deliver Out of the Box syncing of health scores, sentiment, engagement levels, Events, Insights, and several date fields. The "Accounts Dark" signal specifically maps to low engagement in the synced data, which Data Designer can pick up for JO audience building.

We will be bringing a lot of maturity to what you have available in Data Designer this quarter!
