Are there plans to enable Adoption Explorer to work with Relationships?

Best answer by skalle

Hi Mary,

We support AE to work with Relationships via what we call “instances” . Create a project with instance enabled and set the instance to the Relationships.

Please see https://support.gainsight.com/Gainsight_NXT/Adoption_Explorer/Admin_Guides/Projects_and_Project_Settings for more information on how to create a project to work with Relationships.

Please let me know if this helps.

@skalle  what if you have multiple entities per Relationship?  For example, I may have a customer that has two separate environments associated with a Product, and my Relationships are based on Product. How would I associate the two separate instances to the one Relationship?

@darkknight

Though you have usage data at environment level you can still bring usage data into Adoption Explorer.

You can consider product as an instance and associate that instance with relationship to see the dashboard in R360.

When you create reports in Adoption Explorer Dashboard you can create reports grouping the data on Environment field such that you will see events per environment per product.

@skalle Please correct me if am wrong here.
