Put a Run Now Button on the Execution History Page

As a matter of convenience, it would be fantastic to see a “Run Now” button on the Execution History page in Rules Engine. I’m often in the info screen looking around and reviewing results, and triggering a manual execution means I have to close that window to go back to the main screen, run the rule, and then reopen the window to monitor the execution-in-progress so I can download the results.

 

The button should open the same pop-up that the usual process does.

+1 on this.  If we cannot see the execution history on the Edit Rule layout the next best thing is to have the ability to Run the rule from the Execution History preview.

This is one of those things that I’ve just gotten used to over time, but it’s annoying every time I face it (which is really...very very often). Great idea!

Irony here is most of us admins work daily to avoid extra clicks, yet we all just deal with it when it is us. ;)
