Why would we need Word/ Google docs to do design content? How about collaborative authoring (w version control) on the platform?

So COLLABORATIVE AUTHORING to enable co-creation of strategies between Customers + Enggs + PMs + Moderators, the different personas on your Community, using the core tech of the Community, imagine that for a usecase!

If done right takes your community off to the next level, I speak from experience here running successful on-community Betas.

It’s been a cornerstone for Community kind of tech like Sharepoint, even MS Docs, but in this case we dont want to depend on these 3rd party tools to co-create the doc and then attach in a discussion, we dont even have aDoc content type on Insided currently.

The document content type is for co-creation, anyone can edit and add a row to a table for e.g., async, across the world, version control neatly taken care of and they just add a comment below the doc when they update it. The Cmgr guides the cocreation forward by structuring the table on the doc in the direction he wants to build up the strategy and seeds it enough for others to take it from there.
