Question

Images lost when saving emails (from EA) to Timeline?

heather_landgraf
I have set up some nurture emails using.jpg and hyperlink to community pages, but when the email is sent and synced to Timeline, the "body" of the email (image and hyperlink) is lost.  or am I missing something?

Seems at least the URL would stay so you could go to the page for reference in future.

Without that, the rest of the email doesn't tell you much, especially for syncing to Activities in SFDC - no one will know what the email was for necessarily.

Hi Heather,

Attachments and In-line images in Activity is not supported as of now, hence if you have any of them in Email Assist they will not be synced.

But as part of Sept 1st week release, we will be supporting attachments in Activity but supporting them in Email Assist will take time.

Whereas Hyperlinks should work when an Email Assist is synced to Activity, let me know if there are any issue with them.

so here is the strange thing.  when the activity is collapsed - you can see part of the https but when opened, nothing.  seems like at least the URL would be visible in the activity.  Not so worried about the image itself, but where the email is sending the receiver.

Hi Heather,

You should be able to click on 'Items above' and it should take you to hyperlinked URL, if thats not happening i would suggest you to open a Support ticket and they would be able to help you with that.

Hitesh
