Allow Timeline Horizon to paste a screenshot directly to the body of a timeline entry.

Prior to the Horizon update in timeline, CSMs were able to copy/paste screenshots directly to a timeline entry and it would post to the body of the message.
Since the update, we have lost that functionality.  Now screenshots are saved as attachments.  Not the end of the world, but it adds more clicks and since Gainsight is trying to minimize the clicks and user experience, this seems like a good opportunity to give back previous functionality.

Below is a screenshot of a timeline entry with a screenshot saved to the body

@andorfuhrer sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for bringing this up!

I have created a support ticket for this.

Nice observation @andorfuhrer.

Hi @andorfuhrer

If I am not wrong you are using the Firefox browser. Actually, We never support inline images in timeline composer.

Thanks.

We never supported inline images completely in Timeline but it used to work for a few copy paste scenarios. We are exploring if we can bringing back the behavior. In general, adding full support for inline images is on our roadmap.

In our team, this would be a gamechanger that enables us to move away from OneNote to Gainsight for meeting note logging.

For now we have to create our meeting notes in an editor that allows for direct image pasting.

Has there been any progress on this front? The idea was logged some time ago :)
