The same feature that is being worked on for the Mega Menu (below), but for the Navigation Menu.
Use case: We’re implementing a custom navigation header to deliver a consistent navigation menu across many disparate resources, Insided being just one.
We’ll likely be using the Navigation Menu as a simple second level to navigation on Insided, as it offers the profile drop-down and create topic button.
It would be great for the global search entry to be a part of that as well.
Why not use the Mega Menu for the same thing? our team reports that the mega menu has a lot more styling components that are making things tricker. The navigation menu is simpler and has what we want All we have to do is use CSS to hide the drop-down menu.
