Sync existing activities after making changes to activity admin configuration

Hi Team,

 

We have a request from customer to re-sync the existing activities to SF whenever there are changes to activity sync mapping configuration.

Please advise if we can add this to product roadmap

@jagadeesh_kumar_paidimarri, you might be able to create a rule today to update all existing activities. I think a better long term solution would be to have this happen automatically or with a prompt. But in the meantime, you might want to suggest building a rule if they plan to make a lot of changes to the activity sync.

@jean.nairon Thank you. I guess you were referring to updating tasks in salesforce. Please correct me if I am wrong.

@jagadeesh_kumar_paidimarri - that’s correct. Or they can probably load it to the SFDC Event object if they are tracking them there.

Not ideal but it could most likely be a good work around for the customer.
