Admin control to Purge any data within Gainsight

I’m sure there’s a post out there somewhere asking for this already, but a quick search didn’t yield it.

Admins need the ability to purge data from any object without relying on Gainsight support.

For example, we just switched to a new Scorecard. We have history to populate, but cannot because within the Account Scorecard History table each customer can only have ONE scorecard record in the history table per snapshot date and if there are already records for the PREVIOUS scorecard it will block loading history for the NEW scorecard.

So in order to load for the new history, I have to have the old scorecard data purged - which I cannot do so I’m at the mercy of Gainsight Support (and the inherent delays that come with that).

I submitted a request two days ago to have the data purged, and I am told it will be Monday before this can happen.  We have MBOs dependent on scorecard history tracking, and right now our leaders are flying blind.

But really why should Admins have to rely on Support to purge data?

@darkknight With regards to scorecards, we plan on giving an ability to delete scores on account scorecard history soon. most likely within the next 6 months.

I cannot comment on the broader ability to delete data.

@gunjanm We are doing a revamp of the scorecard actions in rules, and this enhancement will be available as part of the revamp. We are targeting April release for the changes.

@shantan_reddy got it, thanks. What is the best way to get support to do the purge in the meantime? Any specific details that I can provide in the ticket request up front, expected turnaround? cc @Melissa Leigh for visibility
