That would be good, if we make a provision to convert the string data type to Picklist and Multipicklist values with length less than 50 characters.

Hi @pthallapalli 

If I understood your question correctly, the ask was, change the String data type to Picklist data type where the field value was less than 50 characters?

Means, let say in an object we have one String Datatype field along with Account ID and Account Name fields.

Ex:

 

So here the “Column XYZ” is the String Datatype.

And now if we are using this object in Rule or Report and if we are using this field in Filters, you want to show this field as Picklist with dropdown of existed values as the lenght of the field was Lessthan 50. Is that correct?
