+3Posting on behalf of customer. Currently in rules it doesn’t appear that we have the ability to find and replace text using rules efficiently.
An example is a text field with 'Test;Test'. You would find ';' and replace that with 'and'.
Would be nice to have an easy ‘find and replace’ option in a transformation task or something.

+3Having this ability in general would be really nice when working with text strings. One recent situation we ran into is a issue where there was hidden characters in a text string that we were trying to compare to another. It would be nice if there was a easy way to find these and in this case either remove them or replace them.
