Hello GS World!!

I thought I read somewhere that we can create a “dummy” account in GS to do testing on prior advising all CSMs to proceed with a new report/design/etc.

I cannot find where I read about creating a test account, anyone know?

Thanks in advance

Hi @ahollen

To create a test account in Gainsight, you'll need to follow these general steps:

  • Access the Gainsight platform: Log in to your Gainsight instance using your admin credentials.
  • Navigate to Data Management >Search Company Object> Data> Add record.
  • Fill in the account details: Provide the required information for the test account. This typically includes details such as the account name, domain, industry, and any other relevant information. You can use fictitious or test data for these fields.

Adding to @Psingh08’s great suggestion:

If you are regularly syncing in Salesforce data, you might also consider creating (or having created for you) a test Account record in Salesforce. That may help you test more scenarios in a more complete way.
