If a Channel is completely turned off in Event Subscriptions, the UI greys out the individual event subscription checkboxes for that channel’s respective column with the previous individual event settings intact. So it makes it look like someone has Slack turned on for XYZ events and can’t change them. But really, they have Slack turned off altogether.
I am requesting an improvement to this UI. Some ideas:
- Upon hover on the grey, show a message that says Slack is turned off and if they want to use it, navigate up to Channel Subscriptions and turn it on again.
- Auto-uncheck everything in that Channel. Then, if I check a box under Event Subscriptions, auto-check the Channel Subscription all over again.
Just...make it more intuitive please.
