When filtering articles in Control, add "Last Edit Date" as a field

The field should be an advanced date field selector with something like this:

@danielwal_coco we have introduced Last edit date as a filter in the Moderation Overview.

We applied the same filtering options on that filter that we have in other filters using dates such as Publish Date and Last activity date.

 

You may have to add the column Last edited to the moderation overview to view it in action.

I do suggest that you save some custom views to help you have a solution that works with only 1 click for your use case.

 

Edit: this is only supported in Articles and Product Updates.

@hhugo - I’m assuming this Idea had been in the backlog for some time already. Sorry I didn’t find an existing Idea to update.

@danielwal_coco this particular one was not on our engineering backlog and also there are no duplicate ideas in the community.

Since we recently moved some things around with the Content Types views, we included this Last Edited timestamp as a column and as a filter in the moderation overview.

I am having an issue where I do edit a topic and save and the last edited date remains the same as the publish date. It never updates.

I have no way of sorting to the oldest or newest edited articles/product updates since this field is not working. 


Does anyone else know how to make this field actually update?

I suggest contacting Support on this, your site may need to be sync’ed or something.

The Last Edited date works OK for me.

As ​@danielwal_coco suggested, the Last Edited timestamps are working as expected so there could be something wrong with your instance.
