Would love to see the ability to pull in, and filter, Contacts based on their affiliation with an attached Contact Roles.

Example: Wanting to fire a New Customer email.  Org uses Opportunity Contact Roles.  Want to send new customer email to 3 out of the 5 listed Contacts in that Opportunities Contact Roles.  Could filter them out based on Role type.

I have a bunch of other, very similar use cases that I'd like to implement for customers.
Is it for Account based outreach or Relationship here? If it is relationship based, you can populate the relationship contacts and have the powerlist built out of relationship contacts.

Note: Copilot works only if the account is added as GS customer. Hope the contacts are part of accounts added as GS customers.
In this case, it is an Account based outreach.  Although we are talking about moving this particular set of data into Relationships, so its good to know about the above.

I am thinking for other customers, though, where they'd like to target the list of Contact Roles associated to whatever object (Opportunity, Project, Services, etc) we are calling out in the Powerlist.  In our case, we had to create some Contact Lookups and then use Process Builder to drive those contacts in.  Not a truly effective long term solution, and becomes less viable for customers who have a long process for adding things to SFDC.
Support for Account based outreach in these scenario is on the roadmap and roughly it will be part of October / November release.
Please can you tell me what happened to this planned release as if it was Oct/Nov it is now 6-7 months overdue
I had the same question. Can I pull info from the contact roles belonging to an opp to build a powerlist to be used in Copilot? This is Account based. we are not using relationships. thanks!
