Hi folks,

we really want to help people read and learn relevant skills but in order to do so we need to be able to be more ‘specific’ regarding what kind of content we show where.

Something that would be a great improvement is being able to feature content  at a category level. Categories are meant to represent key areas of content so it’d be really helpful if we could highlight top articles, events, etc specific to each category.

By feature content I mean this type of block

Just think of showing this inside a category called “Feedback” for instance.

This type of feature will help in two ways:

  • Showcase relevant content in the right section
  • Decongest community homepage.

Hope this is an easy one that more people need :D

Hi @Gabolino, thanks for your idea! I saw that you already got help to display curated content in categories. Next to that, there is also another way of featuring topics via moderator tags (featured_subforum). You can find more information about that in this article. I hope, it can help you to achieve your goal.

I'd still put this idea to 'open' to collect more votes and feedback.

Hey @dilekgencer thanks. I don’t think curated content can be displayed at a category level, only sub-category, which is weird - see this comment.

I’m looking at that topic you shared to see if it does the trick. Thanks .

good workaround with the “curated content” thing but still would prefer the visuals to be better/aligned with homepage level and also available on category level
