Ability to Import csv file from Desktop

Hi,

 

In rules, Can we have the ability to import csv files from desktop directly, instead of placing them in S3 bucket everytime? Similar to ‘import data’ in Data Management!

 

Use case : We create a lot of adhoc rules for validations or one-time loads. Currently,we should connect to S3 and load files and then perform the S3 fetch. Also, as time goes on, these junk files keep piling up. Instead, if we can import data from desktop it makes the process faster.

    @phaneendhar_lingam Thank you for sharing your request here. We have a plan of redesigning the rules engine, let me check whether this use-case is covered as part of redesign.
