If we want to show a tabular style report with something like ARR included then for each record the value is shown in the records currency, and we cannot provide a column level aggregation e.g. sum.
Would like the ability to select wether to show in the records own currency or just use the converted value for all (based on our company default currency).
This is actually blocking us from using multi currency right now, and instead of just syncing values from SFDC directly we’re having to send them from our BI tool in USD values only.
Hi Holly,
Thank you for your feedback
Wanted to confirm if my understanding is correct.
When viewing currency data in Reports, you currently see data only in the local currency. But you would want to see values both in local currencies and also in a User preferred currency?
We currently have column level aggregations right now for currency data, the data is converted to the User preferred currency and then the aggregate is calculated.
Thank you

Hey
Ultimately looking to mirror the functionality that SFDC offers, in that we can show both the record currency value and/or the converted currency value - with the converted currency being our default company value.
e.g. here’s an example from SFDC with some records where the currency is not USD, but we can also choose to show the converted value.

Also you mention column level aggregations currently being possible in GS, but we would also want to be able to include a column calculation for the field also. So e.g. we show line-by-line each account and their revenue in the record currency, but at the bottom it shows a sum in USD.
Thanks
Hi
Showing the converted values in the reports in a part of our roadmap and we will be working on it soon.
The aggregated values would be shown in the Corporate currency. If the User preferred currency is set in the User profile page, then we will show the aggregate in the User preferred currency.
I hope this helps
Thank you
Preethi
