As a community manager or moderator, it would be very helpful to be able to share a topic with other users via direct message.

Typically as a team manager, if I want a team member to go and address a given question/idea, I have to copy the URL and paste it into an e-mail or a direct message which is not very practical.

Hi @rchauvel, thank you for submitting this idea! Are you sharing topics with colleagues that do not have access to Control? In case they do have access to Control, I’d like to highlight, just in case, the functionality “Assign moderator” on the topic moderation page in Control which will trigger an email notification to the user you pick and they will be subscribed to the topic for future activity. Also, there is a filter on the moderation overview that would allow you to get all topics assigned to a moderator. 

Having this said, I do see value in being able to share a topic via the private messages with other community members, so I’m opening the idea for voting.

This would be great! Currently we can @mention but I use sparingly as I don’t want to always put people on the spot publicly. I have a couple folks who have asked for something like this.
