Ability to set default sort order for My Portfolio widget

There does not appear to be any way to set the default sort order for the My Portfolio widget. We want to sort by a custom End Date field. We also cannot move this column to be the first column in the widget (which would auto-sort by that column).

This seems related to this request, but this enhancement was not extended to the My Portfolio widget:
