I think it would be great to have the option to turn off all new posts in a group.

We run beta groups in our community, which eventually get closed. The Product Manager does a thank you and goodbye topic, then I close all existing topics to new comments.

This works great, but recently, we have been making these closed beta groups public, as the insights could be found by other members and assist them. Plus, it’s great to use successful beta groups as examples to beta testers of future groups.

However, some members find these groups and even though all comment sections are closed, they can still create a new topic. Preferably, there would be an option/function to prevent this .

It would be great in the backend of a group, where you can just select “turn off all new topics and comments”.
