When you follow someone nothing happens to notify the person being followed and pull them back to the community. We should add a system email for new followers that notifies the person being followed.

This is one such example, taken from Indie Hackers. At the end of this email is a potential explanation as to why they got a new follower and an added 'thank you' at the end.

In community, it is important that we seek out these little opportunities to pull our members back in. To educate them. To help them understand. To support and thank them.

People don't just magically return, we have to give them nudges. The question is, where and how can you nudge your people to come back in?
