Add Permission Type in User Licensing Reporting

Gainsight gave the ability for admins to create reporting surrounding user licenses. However, during the switch to the license UI update, a lot of users are marked “full license” but the permission is set to “viewer.” This requires a lot of manual auditing because we are unable to see the actual permission type at the reporting level.

Thanks!

@sroma sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I would like to help with the License type documents. Hope this will make your job easier.

  • Viewer License: Users can only view pages assigned to them as part of the Viewer permission set.
  • Full License: Users will have access to products based on the permission bundles assigned to them in Gainsight.

Thanks @sai_ram  - however it will be helpful to see the permission types assigned to each user in reporting next to their license type. Ex: John Smith  - Full License  - Default Bundle

I agree that it would be tremendously beneficial to see the permission type as a column in User Management.
