Is there a possibility of adding pronouns to a user's profile in the inSided Community?

I think that including pronouns in a user profile is a simple step that can help create a more inclusive and respectful community. Adding pronouns to a user’s profile in a community forum can help create a safe and inclusive space for people of all gender identities. It allows others to address them correctly and respects their gender identity. It also signals that the community welcomes all genders and can help create a more comfortable environment for people questioning or exploring their gender identity. Additionally, it can help to prevent misgendering.

Maybe the solution I chose to implement a few years ago helps you: I set up a Profile Field, used the Field Type “Single Select List” (Radio Buttons) and then put in three options: “Male”, “Female”, “Diverse”. You could alter this by naming them “They/them” etc.

Or you can use a Text input field and let the users type in their own preferences in a short text field.

We’ve done the same implementation as @bjoern_schulze.

We have an optional profile field with a Single select dropdown with the options “female”, “male”, “other”. 😊

Thanks for the suggestion, @bjoern_schulze! I’ll try this out and see how it goes.

@krystalwu You’re free to set up any custom user profile field upon registration as mentioned above. Given this solves the problem, and we’re not planning on adding any new global profile fields for all customers, I’ll close this idea.
