One of our Product Managers noticed his Forum Signature was missing when he replied to Ideas, but they show up when he responds to Questions. See screenshots below.

Why is this the way inSided was built? Why would a user or a moderator not want their signature in a response to an idea? Sometimes it feels like the different components of the platform were built in silos from one another and there isn’t parity across the different areas. 

 

TL;DR - Forum Signature only shows in Q&A right now and not in Ideas. Enable Forum Signature across the community for replies. 

I think generally there are a few inconsistencies between some sections like Ideas and community… Profile images not showing the rank icons, signatures, badges… It would be great to either be able to control where what is or if not when it exists it should be consistent everywhere!

You’re 100% right on that, @SmartlyGreg, something I’ve noticed as well. That’s why I mentioned at the end of my post that it feels like the different components of the platform were built in silos. It’s like they had different engineers working on different parts and they never bothered to come together to make sure there is parity across the platform.

We are aware of these inconsistencies especially around ideas/product updates and other content types. These improvements are on our radar for the next iteration on ideas/product updates.
