I have received very positive feedback regarding the new "Show Milestone" in the Chart Option of the 360. Would also love to see the same functionality on Gainsight Dashboard reports as well.
Also, is there a way to manually add a milestone from the C360 without using the Usage section? It would be great to have the same milestone functionality from a report section on the C360 just as we had with the Usage section.

Thanks for posting, Lisa! I've had two other customers ask about more options for manually adding Milestones as well. It's more of a 'log a milestone' use case (similar to a 'log a call' approach we've discussed) because there are too many clicks to create a manual CTA just to log a manual milestone.
+1 to both Elaine and Lisa's posts.
I also have a number of on-prem customers who don't have usage data. They do however like the timeline view showing milestones and would like to enable this without requiring usage data.
Any thoughts on how to best accomplish this?

You should be able to do so today similar to experience in C360. The only requirement for milestone overlay to be feasible is (a) x axis is time and (b) filtered by a single customer (or relationship). The latter is always true if shows up on C360. For dashboard needs to be an explicit filter
Gaurav, in cases where a customer does not have usage data (on-prem for example) is there another recommendation for a data source to assign on the y-axis in order to have a usable chart that milestones can be overlaid on top of?
You tell me 🙂 I'd imagine NPS score, closed CTAs, support tickets are some examples that you can plot over time on X-axis and overlay milestones
Lol. Touche. 🙂
