The Title and Description text fields on the Banner Widget are indented slightly with padding, even when Text Alignment is set to the left.
This throws off alignment with the Title headers and subtitles of other widgets you might place on the page. In my opinion, a key element of Left alignment would be to match the Title and text on other widgets on the page.
