Allow email variables to be used in either subject or body and across email types

Current email variables delineate between a variable being able to be used in subject or the body and also differ from email to email.

I’d like to suggest that there just be a list of variables that you can use anywhere in messaging that are standardized and available as placeholders.

So rather than this:

I should be able to use a variable anywhere I think it’s best to include. For example, if I want to say the community name in a subject or in the body, that shouldn’t be restricted based on the email I’m sending.

If this idea also would allow custom variables, that would be even better. I currently have an Image/banner inside the emails, but to add it to every single email template is quite some work, especially if the banner changes over time.
