Allow users to add a filter on Checkbox field, filter like Active = False (Salesforce allows this )

Right now reporting doesn't allow users to add a filter like, Checkbox Field = False. I know we have a workaround, by adding Checkbox Field ! = True we will get same results. But I think we should give an option to apply this filter. Salesforce allows users to add this filter.

Was this working before the latest release? I have seen 2 tickets (12127 and 12242) where the cases section had a filter of Closed = (empty checkbox) in the report that was being used which caused no data to show.

It is a fairly simple workaround but I find it odd that we had the same issue twice in quick succession.
