We want some of our community leaders to be able to manually grant badges for people based on certain accomplishments. Right now this isn’t possible, so they have to provide a list of usernames to me so I can manually grant the badges.

Ideally, the ability to “Award badge to users” is available to people with permissions to access Badges, as no PII is needed. All that’s needed is a username, which is already known from community participation.

Right now if I grant permission to certain users to access only the Badges section of the control environment, they can access this:

And they can even access the “Edit” section for a badge:

But they cannot “Award badge to users.” The following screen does not show up for them.

I returned to exchange my screenshots with ones that blur the gamification details, but I have no option to edit or remove my post. Is this new, or only applicable to ideas? Please help!

Hi @daniel.boon, just tagging you to make sure you see this requests. :grimacing: Thankfully, @tom.shaddock was able to replace my original image with the blurred one (so my reply is now moot).

Thanks for submitting this idea @LPortalupi - your use case is clear to me (empower users to award badges whilst avoiding exposing PII).
