@lila_meyer we were initially promised this end of July, then end of August/Early September. Are there any updates around access restrictions being honored in Global Timeline. This is a huge pain point for our public sector team whose main concern is security.

Hi @ana_g I’ve transitioned into a new role focused on customer education, so I have to defer to @dan_ahrens for an update from the product team.

Hi @ana_g - we have a Timeline redesign that is almost ready to be unveiled, so the team has been pretty busy on that initiative.

@nitisha_rathi - can you share details on if the Timeline redesign includes enhancements to access restrictions?

    Hello Everyone!

Happy to announce that your request has been considered and included as part of the v6.18 release (SFDC / NXT). With this release, user access to Timeline activity will be dependent on permission sets. If a user does not have permission to view specific Company or Relationship records, they will not see the activity from those records in their Timeline view. Admins can configure permissions under Administration > Permission Groups.

This feature is implemented in both SFDC & NXT versions.

    Thanks for posting!
