Currently on the Insided platform when you are building an article you can create a single table of contents showing only Large and or Large and small headers.  If you want to create a link in a document you cannot do so, (according to Insided support).  If you would simply allow the table of contents to be modified as individual links and not one item it would mean you could remove links you did not want and you could copy and paste links to allow users to jump to different areas of the document.   I have a workaround but it is very extensive and I have shared it with the Insided support team.  Would love to see this feature added.

Hi @Jesse.Wilson, thank you for sharing this idea with us! When we implemented the table of content, we actually investigated the option to allow moderators build the table of contents themselves or edit the links shared in it. This approach proved to require significant technical effort and during the solution validation phase, we gathered customers insights stating that such level of customisation is rarely needed. I’m happy to open this idea and collect additional insights, as we are always open to improve the current functionality.

Hello @Cristina,

Thank you very much for the honest reply.  I do understand offering full flexibility would be a large effort in terms of the engineering aspect.  I do wonder how much effort it would be to be able to copy single links from the table of contents inside the Control editor.

I am using a work around right now where I publish the article and then copy the links one by one.  It is very time consuming but once published the table of contents can be copied a line at a time.

I would love to know if this change could be made, it would save me and possibly others, a significant amount of time for each article I want to do this in.
