I have been asked by a CSM in our team about the possibility of saving an incoming email to multiple timelines in one go rather than having to copy the email and save it to all relevant timelines individually. 

As an example, they are sending out internal emails to Account Exec’s who operate across numerous accounts, so you might have an account exec who works across 7 accounts and instead of sending him 7 emails you might want to send 1 email and then save the details on the rest of the timelines. We want to capture these interactions on the timeline so that anyone looking at them can see that action and interactions are taking place.

 

The problem arises when you bcc the email address and the email is in the drafts folder you only have the option to enter details for one company as I imagine it is saving it to that specific company record which is how it is currently meant to work and I get that. 

I’m doubtful if it’s possible but wanted to ask if anyone has experienced this type of internal communication issue before and does anyone have a workaround or is it a possibility to add this functionality in the future? Appreciate any feedback or ideas on this. 

Hi @pmccrudden, this functionality is on our roadmap that will allow the users to associate multiple companies to one timeline activity. The tentative ETA is the end of Q2.
