We post to welcome new members to our community every week and would like to be able to pull the profiles for all our new members automatically instead of having to tag one by one. Facebook groups does this very well and we would love to see it here too.

I was wondering if you could share a bit about the benefits you have experienced/noticed when tagging (@mentioning) new members in a welcome. Do you see other user cases where such a collective @mention would bring value?

When we mention users in a welcome message they are more inclined to engage with the post and introduce themselves. We’ve also found that they provide more information on why they joined the community giving us ideas on programing and ultimately growing the community quicker. Thank you.

Additionally I’d like to add to this request to be able to auto @ mention event attendees who have RSVP’d so I can remind them to join same day.
