This probably isn’t a common use case, but I’ve had 2 occasions where removing a badge in bulk would have been nice.

When the community was launched, a commenter badge was created. We then built out our gamification and didn’t use that one anymore. I wanted to remove it for consistency - which I had to do manually - looking up each record.

The other issue happened today, where I ran a report for giving out our 1 year badge - except I ran it for 2020, not 2019 and ended up awarding it to 50 people who shouldn’t have received it. I had to look up each record, manually revoke it, and then send them each a PM about it. It was my error, but easier clean up would have been nice!

Thanks for sharing this idea @Kgastaldo!

For your first example, I’d encourage you to vote on this idea:

For the other issue, makes sense - unfortunate to hear what happened, and I appreciate that it must have taken quite some time to fix that!

Side note - can we not delete badges that are no longer in use?

@Kgastaldo - you can set badges that are no longer in use to be a ‘manual’ badge so that it’s no longer be awarded (and you can also revoke that badge from users) - however, you cannot currently delete a badge via Control.

Yep - I’ve done all that, but I have a badge we don’t use at the top of my list. For cleanup, I’d like the ability to remove it from the list altogether. But not a big deal.
