Is it possible for badges to choose a parental category where it applies? Now I see that I have to specify all child categories within the parental category to apply the badge to a whole category.
It will cause a lot of problems in future, when we will add new subcategories into a parental category. That time I will have to add that new category manually to all badges applicable to that parental category.
and additionally: is it possible to add "Clone badge" ability? This is if I need to have many levels of the same badge within the same area. No I have to add it, and setup all conditions one by one. If I can clone an existing badge level 1, I can simply change it then for level 2 by changing specific condition and save it.

When setting badge rules for automatic badges you set Where this applies but can only set it to a category, not the parent category. This really limits the use cases for automatic badges.
In our case we have some categories (closed betas, etc.) that are private and only active for a certain amount of time. Based on participant actions in the beta we want to award a badge. Because we have a category for each beta, we have to continually update the categories included to award this badge as we add new or archive categories.
Would love to be able to provide the badge automatically at the parent category without having to update this constantly. This would also open up some wider use cases for badge awards such as actions across 2 or more parent categories.
