We have >5 parent categories and some with more than >6-7 child categories within. When trying to clean up or manage the platform of categories, it gets very tedious having to scroll the whole list so I can get to the middle/bottom of the list.
It would make it more simpler to have a collapse option right on the parent category level so it’ll be easier to get a glance on what’s present and where one needs to go to?
To add to this, it would it so much easier to reorder the parent categories. Currently I find myself fighting against the system should a parent category have enough child categories that fill up the page =(

While we don’t currently have a need for this idea, I like it and I’m happy to give it an upvote! My company has a similar limitation on a page in our own product that often leads to customer complaints.
One workaround that we recommend that could work in this case as well is to zoom out your browser window so that more is visible on the page. You can do so by using either of the following keyboard shortcuts:
Mac: [cmd] + [+] or [-]
PC: [ctrl] + [+] or [-]
