Community Members have the ability to Save Posts or Favorite Posts

I’ve received a request from a couple customers asking if there is a way to save posts or mark a post as a favorite so they can reference it again at a later point.

Unless the remember the title, it’s hard for them to find older content and would love a way to favorite posts that they can easily reference in the future, maybe in a favorite content section that is part of Discussion Section.

Hi @KellyBebenek , love your idea, it’s definitely something I think we should allow on the platform. Can you elaborate a bit more on the last part of your post: “maybe in a favorite content section that is part of Discussion Section” ? Does it mean that you see a use case for your community member to 1/ save a post 2/ that post would be saved in a new category (let’s say, “saved posts”) under Discussion Section? Or would you rather like your community members to have their own saved posts section (accessible through their profile page for instance). Thank you!

yes,  I think the members should be able to Save or Favorite a post for it to be available somewhere on the platform.

I do like the idea of it being under the discussion section. I don’t think it should be on their profile page as some people don’t frequently access their profile.

I saw this on another community - it was available also on the home page under a quick links section:
