Data Designer: More "Case Field Builder" Operators Please

As a Gainsight Admin, I would like to perform Case-based conditions within my dataset in Data Designer in order to perform a simple % calculation but I am only allowed the following Operators:

Equals

not equal to

is null

is not null

Can we please consider adding “Contains” or “Does not Contain” on the short roadmap in order to handle long product name strings?

In the same breath, is it possible to please have the ability to add custom fields to objects created by Data Designer? This would solve for the need above.

Hi @keith_mattes

Will look into the possibility of adding more operators in Case. You might also be interested in our upcoming functionality called Pivot (Feb release?) which allows for some of these.

In the same breath, is it possible to please have the ability to add custom fields to objects created by Data Designer? This would solve for the need above.

Unfortunately, this would not be possible. Data Designer works on a heavy analytics stack and it won't be possible to add custom fields from outside the application.
