Customer would like the ability to be able to sort customers (by default) based on a field value instead of just alphabetically. We could do this in a report, but then we lose the ribbon bar and other functionality that comes along with that UI view.

Hi Steve, I am not quite sure what you are referring to.  Are you talking about Customers Tab?  You can sort that by any column.  I need more details to act on this one.

    Karl,

Sorry I wasn't clear, I updated the post. They want the view to be sorted "by default" Its my understanding (per engineering) that the only default sort for that UI view is Account Name. Is this not the case?

OK.  The default.  To be transparent, rather than add that kind of thing to Customer Tab we are trying to go the other way and enhance the Reports / Dashboards to close gaps with Customer Tab.  E.g. we recently added the ability to have summary widgets on a dashboard.  It would be good to understand the 'other functionality' that is desired.

    Karl,

The number one thing I am hearing is the ability to have a report like the UI view with scorecards. I can create a report off of scorecard however, I cannot make it look like this with the colors and trend arrows, etc. Hope this helps and others contribute.
