Hi,
I’m moving some articles around, and I understand that I can’t bulk move articles from category to category (Different grievance for another time).
However, it is a bit frustrating that when I’m already in moderation view and want to edit/move an article, I can’t click on it and stay in the moderation view. I have to expand it in the public facing view, then click control to get back into the moderation view, and then go back and move the item. You can understand how frustrating this can be with 15-20 articles.
Thanks,
Ilan
When you’re in the control panel, the links to the topics should all stay within the control panel:
The green links stay in the control panel, the links behind the red icon go to the frontend.
Hi
Thanks for the quick response.
I actually meant in the platform section, not in the main control page. I am able to fix my issue thanks to your other answer in another location, but it should still be accessible in the Platform section of the control view.
Unless I am missing something.
Ilan
Hi
It is true that you cannot edit an article starting from the Platform section. The main Overview section is designed for those kinds of actions.
May I ask when does the situation emerge for you to want to edit an article starting at the Platform section instead of the Overview section?
Best,
Ati
Hey Ati
Thanks for getting back to me on this. If I’m organizing the category pages, I may see an article that needs to be moved somewhere else. As
My request, is that instead of being just the Title in the event category page, it should be a link to the moderation page link.
Does this make sense? If not happy to get on a quick call to explain myself better.
Thanks!
Ilan
Sorry, this idea got sidelined for a while. We are going to close it as it does have an effective workaround at the moment. (copy article name - go to overview and paste to search the article name - open it from there to move it)
