I just wanted to share an idea that I had and think many community’s would benefit from having. The events widget is great and good to have, but it would be even better if when someone's RSVP’s that they would actually receive a community notification on the platform, via DM or by email saying that the event has started or is starting soon etc.
If this was to be done by a DM, it would be great if you could include imagery in DM’s to such as a banner.

If we can’t remind user that event is about to start - user will miss this event for sure.
Extracting Excel file with data and uploading it for sending reminder is too many actions...
Having 1-hour reminder set up (which is being set 1 hour before event) with link to access event would make event functionality complete!
