Export from Person

Hi @cnichols 

We will be bringing in the capability to export from the Data operations section. Would this work for your usecase or are you specifically looking for the export from the C360 section?

HI @pgeorge - we are specifically looking for the export from person functionality. In addition, our end users would like a bulk  update functionality (without talking to an admin) for things like a boolean value or a multi-select here. 

They are looking to be able to export the users and then send to a customer to help manage their own contacts and without the export functionality its being pushed back to the administrative team.

Is the bulk update capability for a specific list of people for a company? Would there be usually a filter on the people to be updated or is it a blanket update on all People records that are associated to the company?

After exporting and making the change would the end user require to load the data back to Gainsight?

The initial focus is to filter and export based on the end-users needs. After that, if they need to re-load something into Gainsight initially we would use rules engine (from an admin team perspective). 

Long term, it would be nice to have a bulk load for the end-user but I’m not sure how this would work for data integrity issues

Got it. Adding this capability to the backlog

We are revamping the Person section to include capabilities like inline edit capabilities. We will check to see if we can bring in bulk edit capabilities.
