We would like to be able to choose which types of activities are sent to slack via Sally subscriptions, right now the setting is just a Yes/No, and too many updates are being sent to slack. This would help us tailor the types of activities we’re notifying people about

 

 

Expounding upon the intention and value of having a multi-select drop-down for activity type:

We are a Slack centric org in terms of internal communication. However, Gainsight is our system of record for all things customer related (we also have bi-directional integration between SFDC). As a result, our most senior execs predominantly use Slack as a means to find customer information and engage in discussion.

Each customer gets their own Slack channel and we would like to be able to integrate the most pertinent timeline notes/activity types into Slack such that we A) reduce manual effort/redundancy by having to reiterate or copy from one system to another and 😎 reduce unnecessary internal escalation where Slack info may be stale, but Gainsight has the latest/greatest updates.
