Gainsight Assist Gmail PlugIn to include Sentiment

Absolutely needed here. We would love to be able to do both add our communication to the timeline AND add a sentiment at the same time. It makes sense, we know our relationship and the temperature in the room as we communicate.

I Absolutely Agree! Including a sentiment record option in the Gainsight Assist Gmail Plugin would be incredibly beneficial. This feature is definitely needed and would greatly enhance our ability to track and manage customer interactions more effectively. It would streamline our workflow by allowing us to capture sentiment directly while choosing the R360 or C360 account, making our email communications even more insightful and actionable. This improvement would be a game-changer for our team!

One additional feature that would be helpful is to allow us to select more than one R360 account.

Email conversations often cover more than one R360 account. We can already do that within Gainsight. Turning this feature on in the Gainsight Assist plugin would be amazingly helpful.

Adding to this with the hope that GS will add sentiment to GS Assist - all platforms.

I have a user that swears that Sentiment was an Option in Gainsight Assist for Outlook but is gone now - as an admin, I rarely use GS Assist - and I can’t seem to find any evidence that sentiment in assist ever existed.  Confirmed it is not in Assist in Outlook or Outlook Web Version Currently.  Has anyone seen it before?

While this is an interesting suggestion, it doesn’t fit into our current product direction (Automated email logging) , so we won’t be moving forward with it at this time.
That said, feedback like this helps shape our long-term thinking, and we appreciate you sharing it.

What is the timeline for Automated Email Logging?  Automated email logging via BCC used to be an option in earlier releases of GS - so how will this differ?

Also - If that is not yet developed, might I suggest AI sentiment to be added to all emails that are Automatically Logged to timeline?

​@waynedilworth The Auto Email Capture feature that went live 25th April (last month), allows Admins to directly authorize the users/CSMs mailboxes and all customer conversations are automatically captured and presented in threaded manner in Timeline.  Details here
The sentiment for emails is expected in future but is not currently supported.
