+9I’m hopeful this idea to add Product as an option to the +Create Topic / Create Idea dialog gets developed in the future.
To complement that, it would be great to have a version of the Idea Pipeline widget (for the Ideation module landing page) that can be showcased by product, not just idea status.
Use case: more than one product, wanting to focus community’s attention by product, in those pipeline widgets, not idea status.
+9My ideal ideation experience for a use case with multiple products:
That saves on moderation time because the product ideas go straight to their pipeline widget.
And it offers a better UX for members looking to vote for ideas on one specific product, rather than combing through all products represented in an “open” status, for example.
