Include Gamification for Private Groups

As far as I can tell, it seems to be hardcoded as disabled.

Definitely what seems to be the case, any settings to ‘enable’?

Erm… Not that I know of. I don’t have access to Control myself but I think I asked Julian about it and apparently it’s intentionally that way right now.

It could potentially be changed in the future though and I can see where there might be valid use cases. But the default should definitely be that private stuff doesn’t get points to avoid people getting mysterious points for no obvious reason

I’m truly excited for the new job. The employer doesn’t have the ability to pay me yet (coming soon!) but I don’t mind. It keeps me busy and is highly likely to be my full-time job for the rest of my career. I’ve moved away from cybersecurity and switched back to more IT Support/SysAdmin stuff and I’m loving it.

I can’t reveal the employer at this time, but I will say this. They’ve got some serious… Talent… On the team. :)

Well… again, Options for the Community Manager is key to have Private activity accounted for or not.

There isn’t a way to configure this at the moment for groups. This is something that would need to be built up. @Sebastian can speak more to this as the product owner, but is out on vacation at the moment.
