We use Private Groups a lot but the engagement does not get accounted for the user.
Is it something I can configure to include today?
If not this needs to be available as a Configurable setting that the Community Manager could choose to get accounted for (and for certain groups/categories)?

Definitely what seems to be the case, any settings to ‘enable’?
Erm… Not that I know of. I don’t have access to Control myself but I think I asked Julian about it and apparently it’s intentionally that way right now.
It could potentially be changed in the future though and I can see where there might be valid use cases. But the default should definitely be that private stuff doesn’t get points to avoid people getting mysterious points for no obvious reason

I’m truly excited for the new job. The employer doesn’t have the ability to pay me yet (coming soon!) but I don’t mind. It keeps me busy and is highly likely to be my full-time job for the rest of my career. I’ve moved away from cybersecurity and switched back to more IT Support/SysAdmin stuff and I’m loving it.
I can’t reveal the employer at this time, but I will say this. They’ve got some serious… Talent… On the team. :)

Well… again, Options for the Community Manager is key to have Private activity accounted for or not.
