I should preface this Idea by noting that I've changed the Forum -> Subscribe phrase in our community to "Follow," and the Forum -> header.profile.dropdown.subscriptions phrase to "Followed topics."
The improvement I'd like to see here is an option for changing the text of an already subscribed topic. Right now, all that happens is the star icon is filled in. The intent is to also provide a text-based indication of subscription status in addition to the graphical indicator. With this change, an already subscribed topic could then display "unsubscribe" or "unfollow." I suppose it could also say "subscribed" or "followed." ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I tried using the plural portion of the phrase, but that didn't work. Maybe that would be an easy way to implement this function using existing code since I couldn't find an actual plurality for the Subscribe phase.
Thanks!
