We would like to access the possibility of implementing a preview option for smartphone view/version of an article, so we can see how the article looks and improve the user experience in Fórum NOS.

 

We would also like to know if it would be possible to enable video resizing, a like the similar option that exists for pictures. This would be important because large videos take up a lot of space in articles, and end up steering the focus from the article core.

That said, do you think it would be possible to implement this features in the near future?

Hi @Mário! Thank you for your suggestions, I think they both make a lot of sense to implement. For the mobile preview, there is a workaround available, though not very elegant, I agree - you could adjust the window size when previewing an article to a mobile size (or with the device toolbar of the browser). Of course, would be much preferred to do this within the product. 

To be completely honest, I couldn’t say that we would be able to implement them in the near future due to high priority work we currently have planned, but they are definitely improvements we’d like to make.

About the possibility of resizing the size of the video window in topics, as it exists with images, even with PC desktop viewing. Do you know when it will be possible? Are you working on it?

 

 

Unfortunately, I cannot give any eta for the ability to resize videos within topics, but will keep you posted around any developments or decisions around this request.
