If you only use small headings in the topic, then only small headings will be shown. Is it what you’d like to see?

If not, could you please elaborate on the use case when there are both large and small heading, but only small headings will be shown in the table of contents?

Thanks for the quick response.

I was using a combination of Large and Small headings in my article, and wanted to have a title (large heading), introduction text (paragraph), Table of contents, section headings (large), example (small), example (small), etc.

In the end, I ended up just flipping between the large and small, but in the future, it would be nicer if I could keep my other formatting methods, and use the table of contents for only small headings.

Thank you for the clarification. Seems like you’d like to add a sub TOC for a part of the article. 

I’ll put this idea to ‘open’ and let others give more input. :)
